I had a fantastic time during my stay. The breakfast choices were excellent, especially the Full Irish options! The evening entertainment with live music added a special touch. However, the photos made the shower look better than it was. the pressure was a bit weak. I would definitely return for the ambiance and value!

great base for exploring dublin's landmarks and parks
I had a wonderful experience at this lovely, quaint hotel, as the staff was friendly and helpful, always with a smile, and the breakfast exceeded my expectations with a great variety that suited all tastes. with close proximity to the Dublin Writers Museum just a few steps away and the beautiful St Stephen's Green park around a 15-minute walk, it was the perfect spot to dive into the city’s charm. For a solo traveler like me, a cozy room to retreat to after a day of walking was ideal, but sometimes the room-to-room noise could be a bit distracting.

Location’s a jump away from major spots like O’Connell Street, perfect for sightseers. The hotel has character with its Georgian style. Cozy lounges that give you a real sense of history.
The rooms were way too warm without a way to adjust the temperature, which left us feeling uncomfortable. Noise from the stairs and street was relentless. soundproofing felt non-existent. Shower pressure was low, a frigid wake-up call, and forget about privacy—thin walls meant conversations from neighboring rooms were way too audible.

Couples looking for a cozy stay should definitely go here
We loved our stay here, everything was pretty much above and beyond what we expected. The live music? Pure talent right there, gave the place a nice touch. Breakfast was delightful too, a large spread that was more than sufficient even if we didn't try the Irish features. Staff treated us like family, attentive and welcoming, couldn't ask for more.
It wasn’t exactly a bargain, but honestly, worth every penny spent.

The fresh local fish was a revelation, and the nearby Castle Vaults Bar had a pub vibe that made it a fun hangout. I also loved the lively ambiance at Lovinspoon for brunch! A traditional dining experience paired with great location.
The family room was cramped with four twin beds, dodging elbow bumps with every move. We were pumped for live music, but the slower tunes didn’t quite match our vibe.

The location pleasantly surprised me, offering a charming mix of Victorian aesthetics and cozy sitting areas, perfect for unwinding. Breakfast featured a delightful variety, including delicious baguettes among other hot and cold options. Service was consistently friendly. however, the room I occupied was quite small, which might feel cramped for some travelers. Additionally, the music in the evenings was loud enough to hinder conversations in nearby areas, creating an imbalance in the atmosphere.
